Iran FM: ‘We Are Waiting’ if US Launches Ground Invasion

Iran Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says Tehran is ready for a US ground invasion, warning American forces would face strong resistance if troops enter Iran.

Tehran: Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has made a strong statement regarding a possible military invasion by the United States. In a recent interview with NBC News, Araghchi said Iran is ready if American troops decide to enter the country.

When asked about the possibility of a US ground invasion, Araghchi responded confidently, saying “We are waiting for them.” His remarks suggest that Iran is not intimidated by the idea of a military confrontation with the United States.

The Iranian foreign minister also warned that such a move could turn into a “big disaster” for American forces. According to him, Iran’s military has prepared for different scenarios and is capable of defending the country if foreign troops enter its territory.
