Oben Rorr Evo Launched at Rs 99,999; A New Budget Electric Bike Arrives

Oben Electric has launched its all-new budget-friendly electric motorcycle at an introductory price of Rs 99,999 for the first 10,000 customers, after which the price will rise to Rs 1.25 lakh.

The Oben Rorr Evo packs a range of advanced technical features, such as:

• A 3.4 kWh LFP battery with IDC claimed range of 180 km (approx. 150 km in real-world)

• A 9 kWh motor with chain drive

• The motorcycle offers four riding modes—Eco, City, Havoc, and Smart iQ, with Smart iQ claimed to boost range by up to 15%

• The Oben Rorr Evo features a 5-inch TFT display with four distinct themes that dynamically change based on the selected riding mode

• The motorcycle features a six-litre under seat storage and four-litre tank storage making a total of 10-litre storage on the motorcycle. Dual USB charging ports are among the many features in the Oben Rorr Evo

From an aesthetic standpoint, the Oben Rorr Evo gets a revised, sportier design, highlighted by a mono-projector headlamp and a horizontal DRL. The motorcycle features a 780 mm seat height, 200 mm ground clearance and 230 mm water wading capacity, which makes it compatible for riding in any road conditions across seasons.

The Oben Rorr Evo can be charged via –

• Oben Plug that charges 0-80% in 90 minutes with the fast home charger

• Or any standard 15 Ampere household socket

• Oben Electric claims access to 68,000+ charging stations across India, helping riders feel more confident on longer trips

The Oben Rorr Evo is available in four colours – Pulse Red, Neutron Blue, Magnetic Black, and Photon. Riders can also check the real-time vehicle health status of the motorcycle via the Oben app.
