India’s first official F1 Sim Racing Championship allows young drivers to compete virtually on an international platform.

Formula 1 and Mumbai Falcons Racing Limited has officially partnered to launch India’s first F1 Sim Racing Championship in Mumbai. With the growing popularity of Formula 1 among Indian fans and the rising craze for sim racing, this is the perfect time to launch an F1 Sim Racing Championship for enthusiasts looking to compete virtually on an international level.

Mumbai Falcons Racing Limited stated that the F1 Sim Racing Championship will feature the same team liveries, racing tracks, and race formats as the global championship. Details regarding the racing calendar and points-scoring system will be announced in the coming days.

Players competing in the championship will race on F1 ’25. Participants can take part using a PC, Xbox, or PS5. The F1 Sim Racing Championship will start with qualifiers followed by city-based rounds. The top players will then progress to national final in Mumbai in November 2026.

Registrations for the F1 Sim Racing Championship will open on April 30th on the MFRL app, which is available on Play Store and App Store.

India’s first F1 driver Narain Karthikeyan said, “India has long been central to the global growth story of Formula 1. With 78.8 million fans and a generation raised on F1 gaming, the time is right to introduce an official, competitive sim racing championship here.”

Mumbai Falcons Racing Limited has partnered with Formula 1 for the F1 Sim Racing Championship, as the racing team has a well-known track record in the sport.
