Skoda Auto India launched the new Skoda Kushaq facelift recently. The mid-size SUV is equipped with new features and get design tweaks. The Skoda Kushaq facelift is priced between Rs 10.69 lakh and Rs 18.99 lakh ex-showroom. On the outside, the Skoda Kushaq facelift features angular LED headlamps with eyebrow-shaped DRLs blended with the signature butterfly-shaped grille, a newly designed, aggressive-styled bumper and slightly lower-positioned fog lamps. At the rear you will notice a completely redesigned tail lamp with connected light bar and ‘Skoda’ lettering in the centre, along with a few design tweaks to the rear bumper. Inside the Skoda Kushaq facelift, you get a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster for driver assistance and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additionally, the Skoda Kushaq facelift now features Gemini AI, enabling hands-free interaction through voice commands and providing real-time information such as news and trends. Automatic climate control, wireless charging pad, six-speaker sound system, six-way powered front seats with ventilation are among the many features. While an electric sunroof is available from the base variant, a panoramic sunroof and segment-first rear massaging seats are features reserved for the top trims. The mid-size SUV comes with two engine options – a 1.0-litre turbo petrol producing 115PS and 178Nm available with a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission. A mightier 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine is available, producing 150 PS and 250 Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Skoda Kushaq facelift has set high standards in vehicle safety. The mid-size SUV has scored five-star ratings in both adult and child safety tests. 25 active and passive safety features come standard across the range. Six airbags across all variants, rear parking sensors, front parking sensors (on top variants), three-point seatbelts with pretensioners, electronic stability control, hill hold assist are among the many safety features features. The number of active and passive safety features rises to 40 in the top variant lineup. This includes front parking sensors, disc brakes on all four wheels, cruise control, remote vehicle operation, and more. The Skoda Kushaq facelift is available in five variants – Classic +, Signature, Sportline, Prestige and Monte Carlo and comes with eight colour options – Candy White, Cherry Red, Shimla Green, Lava Blue, Carbon Steel, Brilliant Silver, Steel Grey and Deep Black.
