Jorge Martin produced a sensational ride to win the 2026 French MotoGP for Aprilia Racing, ending a 588-day wait for a MotoGP Grand Prix victory. Starting from seventh on the grid, Martin steadily climbed through the field before overtaking teammate Marco Bezzecchi with just three laps remaining.

The victory was particularly emotional for Martin after struggling with injuries and inconsistent performances during the 2025 season. It also marked his first full Grand Prix win with Aprilia.
